Lemon Pepper Drop Cheese Biscuits
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
- 1 teaspoon lemon & pepper seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup Land O Lakes Margarine, softened
- 4 ounces (1 cup) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup milk
- Heat oven to 375F.
- Combine flour, baking powder, basil, lemon & pepper seasoning and baking soda in bowl; mix well.
- Add margarine; mix in with fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in shredded cheese.
- Stir in milk just until moistened.
- Drop batter by 1/4 cupfuls, 2 inches apart, onto large ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
