Artichokes With Mustard Sauce Recipe
- 4 lrg Artichokes
- 1 x Clove Garlic
- 1/2 c. Vinegar
- 1/4 c. Oil
- 1/3 x Butter
- 1/3 x Mayonnaise
- 1/3 x Mustard
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- Cut off top 1/4 of the artichokes.
- Fill a large pot 3/4 full with hot water.
- Add in garlic, vinegar,oil and artichokes.
- Cook over medium-high heat for 45 min.
- Turn artichokes upside down on paper towels till liquid removed and cool.
- When cool, pull out center leaves, spoon out core.
- Cut lemon in half, taking out lemon pulp.
- Mix together sauce ingredients and spoon into hollowed out lemon halves.
- Push lemon halves into the top of hollowed out artichokes.
- Tear off artichoke leaves, dip in sauce and enjoy.
