Cheese and Garlic Buttered Potatoes

  1. Peel the potato and chop into 2cm cubes, then soak in a water for a few minutes.
  2. Drain the potatoes and put them into microwavable container covered lightly with a lid (or cover with a plate).
  3. Heat for about 3 min or until potatoes are soft (if unsure check by inserting a chopstick or fork)
  4. Once cooked, add the soy sauce, butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder and cheese, and mix gently but well.
  5. You can eat immediately or it's also good baked in an oven-toaster.
  6. Add the cheese to potatoes before baking (use oven proof dish.)
