Oatmeal with Spiced Apples and Raisins
- 1 tsp. trans fat free canola-based soft margarine
- 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, chopped
- 1 tsp. raisins
- 2 Tbsp. apple juice, frozen concentrate, unsweetened
- 1 tsp. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. (dash) nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. (dash) cloves
- 1 instant oatmeal packet
- 1-1/2 Tbsp. PLANTERS Sliced Almonds
- 8 fl oz (1 cup) SUNRISE
- HEAT margarine in a non-stick pan to medium.
- ADD apples to pan and saute for approximately 8 minutes until they begin to brown.
- TOSS in raisins and apple juice concentrate.
- Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- PREPARE oatmeal per package directions.
- Top with prepared apples and raisins.
- Sprinkle with almonds.
- SERVE oatmeal with a glass of CRYSTAL LIGHT SUNRISE.
