Spaghetti Pie
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. fine spaghetti, broken in 2-inch pieces
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/3 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 jar Ragu
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 4 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 c. small curd cottage cheese
- Cook spaghetti; drain and stir in butter, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and egg.
- Spread in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Saute beef, onion and green pepper in oil.
- Drain.
- Stir in sauce, sugar, oregano and garlic salt.
- Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti.
- Top with meat mixture.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with Mozzarella and bake 10 minutes more.
- Let stand 15 minutes.
- Cut into serving pieces.
