Deep Dish Peach Pie Recipe
- 8 to 10 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted & sliced
- 1/2 to 2/3 c. white or possibly brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- Deep dish pie plate lined with pie crust
- Combine sliced peaches with sugar, salt, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Mix well.
- Pour peaches into the deep dish pie plate.
- Combine topping ingredients to make a crumb mix.
- Sprinkle over the peaches.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 15 min.
- Then reduce oven to 350 degrees for 30 min.
