- 1 Egg yolk
- 2 tsp Vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp Milk
- 50 grams Sugar
- 3 tbsp Strawberry sauce
- 120 grams Cake flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tbsp Cranberries (optional)
- Sift all the ingredients together.
- Wrap the lid with a kitchen towel, and start boiling water in the steamer.
- Cut up the cranberries into small pieces.
- In a bowl whisk the egg yolk, and add the vegetable oil, milk, sugar and strawberry sauce, in that order, and mix each time you add an ingredient.
- Add the sifted dry ingredients to the bowl.
- Add the cranberries and fold into the batter with a spatula.
- The batter should be somewhat sticky and thick.
- Place cupcake linings into silicone muffin molds and spoon in the batter 70% full.
- Align the molds in the steamer and steam for 12 minutes over high heat, and the buns are done.
- If you're not going to eat the buns right away, place them in a plastic bag while they are still slightly warm.
- This is to prevent them from hardening.
