Cape Curry Powder (South African) Recipe

  1. In dry skillet, separately toast cloves, peppercorns, coriander, cumin, fennel, and mustard seeds on medium heat, taking care not to burn.
  2. Mix toasted items and chilies in spice mill; grind to a fine pwdr.
  3. Mix with the rest; mix till uniform color is achieved.
  4. Store in airtight container.
  5. Makes med warm currypowder.
