Pheasant in a Bag

  1. Salt and pepper pheasant inside and out.
  2. Rub butter on outside of pheasant and add garlic, onion and a little butter to cavity of bird.
  3. Put bird in a brown bag and tie end.
  4. Set on cookie sheet and bake 1 1/2 hours at 350F (180C).
  5. Remove from oven and let rest 10 minutes before servings
