Four Chip Muffins(Makes 12)

  1. Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
  2. Grease 12 muffin cups.
  3. In a large bowl, stir together flour, brown sugar, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, stir together milk, butter, eggs and vanilla until blended. Make a well in center of dry ingredients; add milk mixture and stir just to combine.
  4. Stir in chips and nuts.
  5. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups.
  6. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until a cake tester inserted in center of one muffin comes out clean. Remove muffin tin to wire rack; cool 5 minutes before removing from muffin tin.
  7. Serve warm or cool completely.
  8. They freeze well.
