Cheesy Sausage Quiche
- 3/4 lb. pork sausage links
- 1/2 c. onion, thinly sliced
- 1/3 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar, grated
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 pie crust
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 3/4 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- Fry sausage; reserve 2 tablespoons of fat.
- Saute onion and pepper in fat for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Slice sausage.
- Combine cheese and flour.
- Stir in sausage slices, green pepper and onion.
- Spread in pie crust shell.
- Mix remaining ingredients and pour into shell.
- Bake on cookie sheet for 35 to 40 minutes or until browned and filling is set.
- Serves 6.
