Brown Sugar Orange Glazed Ham
- 1 whole (6 To 8 Lb. Size) Pre-cooked Hame, Bone-in
- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 cups Dark Brown Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons Fresh Pineapple Juice
- 1 teaspoon Orange Zest
- 1 Tablespoon Dried Mustard
- Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F.
- Place the ham face-down in a deep roasting pan.
- Add in the water.
- Insert an oven-safe thermometer and cover the entire pan with aluminum foil.
- Place ham in the oven and bake until the thermometer reads 130-135 degrees F. Combine the brown sugar, pineapple juice, orange zest and dried mustard.
- Stir to combine.
- If its a little thick, add a tablespoon of water to thin it out.
- Set aside.
- Remove ham (and foil) and crank the oven temp up to 425 degrees F. Discard any accumulating juices in the pan.
- Brush the glaze all over the ham and return the ham without the foil to the oven to bake for 20-25 more minutes.
- Let the ham rest for 10-15 minutes covered loosely in foil before serving.
- Note: I have made this with orange juice instead of the pineapple and found it to be too orange-y.
