Gertrude Serata's Charoset
- 1 apple, quartered and cored
- 1/4 cup pecans or walnuts
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Dash of nutmeg
- Dash of ginger
- Honey to taste
- Red wine
- Combine the apples, nuts, spices, honey and wine in food processor until mixture resembles a mortar.
