Meat Loaf For Fifty Recipe
- 3 pound grnd veal
- 3 pound grnd pork
- 6 pound grnd chuck
- 2 med. onions, minced
- 3 c. grated raw carrots
- 3 tbsp. salt
- 1 to 8 teaspoon pepper
- 6 Large eggs
- 6 c. bread crumbs
- 3 c. evaporated lowfat milk
- Slices of bacon
- Mix meats thoroughly.
- Add in onions and carrots; mix again.
- Add in seasonings, Large eggs, crumbs and lowfat milk.
- Shape into loaves and place in baking pans and lay the bacon over the top.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 15 min; then reduce to 350 degrees and bake an hour longer.
