Apple Crunch Coffee Cake

  1. Heat oven to 400F (200C) F.
  2. Grease 9 x 9 square pan.
  3. Mix baking mix, milk, sugar and egg; beat vigorously 30 seconds.
  4. Spread half of the batter in pan.
  5. Arrange apple slices on batter; sprinkle with half of the topping.
  6. Spread remaining batter over apple slices; sprinkle with remaining topping.
  7. Sprinkle with nuts.
  8. Bake about 25 minutes, cool.
  9. Drizzle with glaze.
  10. Topping: Combine dry ingredients, then cut in margarine.
