Individual Strawberry Cheesecakes With No Crusts
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 13 cup sugar
- 14 cup half-and-half
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 14 teaspoon orange zest
- 1 (3 ounce) strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
- 1 cup water, boiling
- 12 cup water, cold
- 1 cup pureed strawberry
- fresh strawberries, for garnish
- In food processor, puree cream cheese, sugar, half & half, orange juice, vanilla and orange zest 1 minute or until smooth.
- Set aside.
- In a bowl, combine the boiling water with the jello powder.
- Stir 2 minutes to dissolve the powder.
- Add 1/2 cup cold water.
- Stir 2 minutes to combine.
- Stir in 1 cup pureed strawberries and 1/4 cup of the cream cheese mixture.
- Divide jello mixture evenly among 6 dessert glasses.
- Chill 1 hour.
- Divide remaining cream cheese mixture among the glasses.
- Chill until set or until ready to serve.
- Garnish with fresh strawberries, if desired.
