Pork with bamboo shoots
- 2 smoked boneless pork chops, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 can boiled bamboo shoots, sliced
- 4 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 6 lettuce leaves, roughly chopped
- 1/2 onion, thick slices
- 3 tbsp shaoxing or cooking white wine
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 dash ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Mix sliced meat with 1 tbsp.
- Soy sauce
- Heat vegetable oil and sautee pork for 2 minutes
- Add bamboo and mushrooms, cook for 1 minute
- Add onion and lettuce and cook for another minute
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine wine, water, beef cube, oyster sauce and cornstarch.
- Stir well
- Add mixture to pan and stir frequently until thickened.
- Add a dash of pepper and sesame oil and serve
