Charla'S Wild Rice With Sausage(Makes 6 To 8 Large Portions)
- 2 lb. Polska kielbasa sausage
- 1 medium onion
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. Cajun hot sauce
- salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1 large bell pepper
- 4 oz. sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 c. green onion with green spears
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. dried parsley
- 1 box long grain wild rice
- Slice sausage.
- Dice all onions and bell pepper.
- Drain mushrooms.
- Cook margarine, onions and bell pepper in a skillet until tender.
- Add garlic powder, parsley, salt, black pepper and sausage.
- Cover and simmer, about 20 minutes or until sausage is done.
