Beef With Broccoli(Chinese)

  1. Cut beef steak across grain into thin 1/4-inch slices.
  2. Mix sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, sherry, sugar and Accent and set aside.
  3. Cut broccoli into flowerets, peel stalk and cut into slices.
  4. Pour 2 tablespoons oil into a hot wok/skillet; add salt and broccoli.
  5. Stir and turn constantly until broccoli turns dark green.
  6. Remove from wok and spread on plate.
  7. Put remaining 3 tablespoons oil in wok.
  8. Add ginger or onion slices.
  9. Stir in beef mixture and keep turning constantly until almost done.
  10. Add cooked broccoli to beef.
  11. Mix thoroughly until beef cooked to desire degree of doneness.
  12. Serve immediately.
  13. Serves 2 to 3.
