Hearty Beef And Tomato Stew

  1. Cut beef into 1/2-inch cubes.
  2. Brown beef, onion and garlic in oil in large frypan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add broth, tomatoes and thyme.
  4. Bring to boil.
  5. Cover and simmer over low heat 30 minutes.
  6. Add potatoes and carrots.
  7. Cook, covered, 45 minutes more or until tender.
  8. Dissolve flour in water.
  9. Add to frypan and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
