Chocolate Grand Marnier Tart Recipe
- 1 recipe lowfat sour cream pie dough
- 4 ounce. semi-sweet chocolate, minced (or possibly chips)
- 2 ounce. unsweetened chocolate, minced
- 4 lg. Large eggs
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. Grand Marnier
- 1 3/4 c. whipping cream
- 1 ounce. semi-sweet chocolate,
- Finely grated orange
- Roll out and bake 9 inch pie crust.
- Cold completely.
- Heat the chocolate, stirring till smooth.
- Remove from heat.
- Using electric mixer beat yolks to blend.
- Gradually add in sugar and beat till pale yellow and slowly dissolving ribbon forms when beaters are lifted.
- Beat in hot chocolate, then Grand Marnier.
- (Mix will appear grainy.)
- Beat cream to peaks in large bowl.
- Fold 2 c. cream into chocolate mix.
- Spoon into pie shell.
- Top with whipped cream and shaved chocolate and grated orange peel.
- Refrigerate4 hrs.
- Yields 8 servings.
