Pasta Carbonara with a Twist
- 1 package Bacon
- 1 package Your Favorite Pasta (I Use Spaghetti Or Angel Hair)
- 1 jar Alfredo Sauce (I Use Ragu)
- 1 bag Baby Spinach
- 1 package Mushrooms (optional)
- Cut bacon into small pieces and cook as desired.
- (I like crunchy.)
- Drain fat and set bacon aside.
- Start cooking pasta.
- Pour alfredo sauce into the same pan you cooked bacon in and slowly simmer.
- Add bacon into sauce.
- Once pasta has cooked, pour into a serving bowl and top with spinach.
- Pour sauce over the spinach so that the heat from the pasta and the sauce gently cook it.
- Serve!
- Sauteed mushrooms are great added into the sauce or served on the side if some people in your family dont like them.
