Butterscotch Banana Bread
- 3 1/2 c. unsifted flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. ripe mashed bananas
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
- 1/2 c. melted oleo
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. raisins, cut
- 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- In small bowl combine dry ingredients.tn a large bowl combine bananas, butter and eggs; mix until creamy.
- Gradually add flour mixture alternately with milk.
- Mix well.
- Stir in 1 1/2 cups pecans and butterscotch morsels.
- Pour equally into 2 loaf pans.
- Sprinkle
- 2/3 cup pecans on top, if desired.
- Bake 60 to 70 minutes at 350u0b0.
- Cool 15 minutes in pan.
