Pistachio Bread Recipe
- 1 pkg. Duncan Hines butter recipe cake mix (yellow)
- 1 sm. pkg. Jello instant pistachio pudding mix
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- 4 Large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1/4 c. water
- 3 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 c. walnuts or possibly pecans, finely minced
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine cake and pudding mixes, lowfat sour cream, Large eggs, oil and water.
- Beat well till smooth.
- In a small bowl mix together sugar, cinnamon, and nuts.
- Divide batter between 2 greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pans, alternating layers of batter with sugar/nut mix.
- End with a sugar layer.
- Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or possibly till loaves test done.
