German Chocolate Upside-Down Cake
- 1 c. flaked coconut
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1/3 c. cooking oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 lb. confectioners sugar
- 1 c. margarine
- 1 pkg. cream cheese
- Sprinkle coconut and pecans evenly over greased pan.
- Combine cake mix, water, oil and eggs at low speed until moistened, then beat at high speed for 2 minutes.
- Evenly spoon batter over coconut and pecans.
- In large bowl, combine confectioners sugar, margarine and cream cheese.
- Beat until smooth and creamy.
- Spoon evenly over batter.
- Bake at 375u0b0 in 9 x 13-inch pan for 45 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cut into squares.
- Serves 12 to 15.
