German Chocolate Upside-Down Cake

  1. Sprinkle coconut and pecans evenly over greased pan.
  2. Combine cake mix, water, oil and eggs at low speed until moistened, then beat at high speed for 2 minutes.
  3. Evenly spoon batter over coconut and pecans.
  4. In large bowl, combine confectioners sugar, margarine and cream cheese.
  5. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  6. Spoon evenly over batter.
  7. Bake at 375u0b0 in 9 x 13-inch pan for 45 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  8. Cut into squares.
  9. Serves 12 to 15.
