Chocolate Kiss-Peanut Butter Cookies
- 4 c. flour
- 3 tsp. soda
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 c. creamy peanut butter
- 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3 tsp. vanilla
- 14 oz. pkg. Hershey's chocolate Kisses
- granulated sugar (for rolling)
- Sift flour, soda and salt together.
- Set aside.
- Beat butter and peanut butter until well blended.
- Add granulated sugar and brown sugar.
- Beat until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
- Stir in flour mixture until well combined. Using a level tablespoonful for each, shape into balls.
- Roll each ball in granulated sugar.
- Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake 8 minutes at 375u0b0.
- Remove from oven.
- Press an unwrapped chocolate Kiss on top of each.
- Bake 2 minutes longer. Cool.
