Cousin Corinda'S Wedding Cake

• 2 c. sugar
• 2 c. brown sugar
• 1 c. butter
• 6 eggs
• 1 lb. raisins
• 1 lb. currants
• 1 lb. dates
• 1/4 lb. citron
• 2 lemon rind and juice or 1 orange and 1 lemon
• 1/2 lb. walnut meats
• 1 c. sour milk
• 2 tsp. cinnamon
• 2 tsp. soda
• 1 tsp. cloves
• 1 tsp. nutmeg
• 3 c. crackers, rolled fine
• 2 c. flour

1. Mix like any other cake, flour fruits with the flour given. Wine or brandy may be added if desired.
2. Bake two hours in a slow oven.
3. I added lots more fruit of all kinds and nut meats and then added a wine glass of brandy and one of wine.
4. But do not add any more flour even though you add the extra liquid.
