Sausage Jalapeno Poppers
- 1 pound Bulk Hot Sausage
- 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened But Still Cool
- 12 whole Jalapenos
- 8 ounces, weight Bacon
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees .
- Brown sausage in large skillet until no longer pink.
- Drain as much grease as possible or poppers will be very greasy.
- Stir cream cheese into sausage until well mixed.
- Slice jalapenos in half lengthwise.
- Remove veins and seeds.
- Stuff each jalapeno half with sausage mixture.
- Slice bacon in half lengthwise and crosswise.
- Wrap one piece of bacon around each filled jalapeno.
- Secure bacon with toothpicks, if necessary.
- Arrange jalapenos on large, shallow baking pan.
- Bake for 20 25 minutes or until bacon is evenly browned.
