Hamburgers Baked In Foil
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1/4 c. diced green pepper
- 1/2 c. diced celery
- 1 medium to large onion, diced
- 3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. catsup
- 1/4 c. diced dill pickle
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
- salt and pepper to taste
- Brown hamburger and drain on paper towels.
- Saute green pepper, celery and onion; add to hamburger in a large bowl.
- Add mayonnaise, catsup, dill pickle, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and salt and pepper.
- Mix well and spread on 1/2 of a hamburger bun. Place a slice of cheese, if desired.
- Cover with bun top.
- Wrap in squares of aluminum foil (heavy is best).
- Bake at 300u0b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Serves 8.
- (Stays hot for about 30 to 45 minutes.)
