Frosty Squares
- 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 2 egg whites
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. sliced fresh strawberries
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. whipping cream, whipped
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Mix together the first 4 ingredients and spread evenly in a baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mixture is crumbly.
- Sprinkle 2/3 of this in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Combine the egg whites, sugar, berries and lemon juice in a large bowl.
- Beat with mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in whipping cream and spoon over nut mixture. Top with remaining crumbs and freeze overnight.
- Cut into squares and served topped with a tablespoon Cool Whip and half strawberry.
