Breakfast-In-A-Dish
- 8 slices bacon, crumbled*
- 6 frozen hash brown patties
- 2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. chicken bouillon cubes
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 carton egg substitute
- 6 slices American cheese
- 1/2 c. celery, diced
- 1/2 c. onion, diced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Prepare bacon in skillet over medium heat; drain.
- In large saucepan or stockpot, combine hash brown patties, bouillon cubes and water.
- Cover and place over medium-low heat until patties are thawed and crumbled.
- Remove from heat.
- Add bacon, margarine, cheese, celery, onion, salt and pepper.
- Mix ingredients together until margarine and cheese have melted.
- Gradually add egg substitute to mixture, stirring constantly.
- Pour mixture into a 2 quart casserole dish.
- Bake 1 hour or until mixture is firmly set in center.
