Almond Fingers Recipe

  1. Cream the butter and sugar till pale, add in egg yolk.
  2. Sift together flour, baking pwdr and salt.
  3. Add in and mix to a hard dough.
  4. Roll dough out 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Cut dough into rectangles 3 x 1/2".
  6. Prepare icing by beating the egg white with the icing sugar till thick.
  7. Spread the icing proportionately on biscuits and sprinkle with the minced nuts.
  8. Arrange proportionately spaced on a lightly greased baking tray.
  9. Bake 350 F 10 min.
