Chocolate-Peppermint Crunch Bars

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Place crackers in single layer on foil-covered rimmed baking sheet.
  3. Cook butter and sugar in saucepan on medium-high heat until butter is melted and mixture is well blended, stirring occasionally.
  4. Bring to boil; cook 3 min.
  5. (Do not stir.)
  6. Pour over crackers; spread to evenly cover crackers.
  7. Bake 5 to 7 min.
  8. or until topping is golden brown.
  9. Immediately sprinkle with chocolate; let stand 5 min.
  10. or until softened.
  11. Spread over crackers; sprinkle with crushed candy canes.
  12. Cool.
  13. Break into pieces.
