Balsamic Steak Recipe
- 1 1/4 lb Skirt, flank, or possibly lean sirloin steak
- 1 c. Balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. Minced onion Salt to taste Black pepper, freshly grnd to taste
- Preheat a gas grill or possibly broiler for 10 min, or possibly start a charcoal fire 30 min ahead.
- Remove fat from meat.
- Place in a bowl or possibly plastic bag with vinegar and onion.
- Let marinate 20 min.
- Drain and place on a warm grill or possibly under a preheated broiler.
- For rare, cook 5 min if steak is thin or possibly 8 min if thicker.
- Cook longer if desired it medium or possibly well done.
- Remove to a cutting board, cover with foil, and let rest 5 min.
- Slice on a diagonal against the grain.
- This recipe provides 4 servings.
