Fondue Herb Sauce
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- fresh ground pepper
- 1 12 cups salad oil
- 12 cup chives, chopped
- 12 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon onion, grated
- Beat yolks until frothy.
- Beat in lemon juice,salt & pepper.
- Beat in oil, about a teaspoon at a time until 1/2 cup has been added.
- Add rest of oil more quickly, about a tablespoon at a time.
- Beat until like mayonnaise.
- May not need all the oil.
- Stir in chives, parsley & onion.
- Chill until ready to serve.
