Barbecued Beef Brisket Recipe

  1. Sprinkle both sides of the brisket with the Adolph's tenderizing salt and let set for 1 hour.
  2. Combine seasoning salt, pepper, and paprika; rub into both sides of the brisket.
  3. Place brisket in a shallow baking container.
  4. Combine oil, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and bay leaves, pour marinade mix over brisket and chill for 2 days, turning occasionally.
  5. Remove from the marinade, coat both sides with your favorite brand of barbecue sauce and let sit in the refrigerator for 1 day.
  6. Wrap basted brisket in heavy duty cooking foil and bake in a 200 degree oven for 8 to 10 hrs or possibly till tender.
