Ancho Chile Paste Recipe

  1. Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 min.
  3. Pour into a blender and puree till smooth.
  4. Set aside till ready to use.
  5. (used as ingredient in Smoked Tomato Ranchero - see recipe)
