BAKER'S ONE BOWL Coconut Macaroons

  1. Mix coconut, sugar, flour and salt in large bowl.
  2. Stir in egg whites and almond extract until well blended.
  3. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased and floured cookie sheets.
  4. Press cherry or almond into center of each cookie, if desired.
  5. Bake at 325F for 20 minutes or until edges of cookies are golden brown.
  6. Immediately remove from cookie sheets.
  7. Cool on wire racks.
