Chocolate Malt Brownies Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Heat chocolate in saucepan or possibly a double boiler over simmering water.
  3. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Cream butter; add in the sugar and the vanilla.
  5. Beat in the Large eggs.
  6. Blend in melted chocolate.
  7. Sift flour, baking pwdr, salt, and malted lowfat milk pwdr.
  8. Add in to chocolate mix, stirring well.
  9. Mix in nuts.
  10. Pour batter into a greased and floured 8-inch square pan.
  11. Bake for 25-30 min.
  12. Remove from oven while brownies are still moist.
  13. Spread Malted Lowfat milk Glaze over brownies.
  14. Cut into 2-inch squares.
  15. Yield: 16 brownies.
  16. Each: about 245 calories, 12 g fat, 49 mg cholesterol, 220 mg sodium.
