Flavored Rice Made With Chunky Stew

  1. Re-hydrate the dried shiitake mushrooms in warm water.
  2. Finely chop the re-hydrated mushrooms and the carrot.
  3. Cut the aburaage into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Wash the rice and add the stew liquid up to the 2 cup line.
  5. If you don't have enough liquid, add the water that the shiitake mushrooms were soaking in.
  6. Add the shiitake, carrots, and aburaage to the rice cooker bowl and cook.
  7. Once cooked, sprinkle with salt, stir, and enjoy!
