Chocolate Dipped-Strawberry Pie
- 1-1/4 cups chocolate cookie baking crumbs
- 1/4 cup butter
- 5 oz. Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, divided
- 1 pkg. (250 g) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1-1/2 cups thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping, divided
- 8 fresh strawberries with tops Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Mix baking crumbs and butter; press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate.
- Bake 10 min.
- ; cool.
- Melt 3 oz.
- chocolate as directed on package.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar in medium bowl with mixer until blended.
- Add melted chocolate; mix well.
- Stir in 3/4 cup Cool Whip; spread onto bottom of crust.
- Top with remaining Cool Whip to within 1/2 inch of edge.
- Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
- Meanwhile, melt remaining chocolate.
- Dip strawberries in chocolate; place on waxed paper-covered plate.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Top with strawberries just before serving.
