Buttery Toffee Cookies

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine sugar, butter, egg and vanilla in bowl.
  3. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.
  4. Add flour, baking soda and salt; beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
  5. Stir in toffee bits.
  6. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to cooling rack.
