Bell Peppers Stuffed With Shrimp Recipe

  1. Wash, halve and core peppers.
  2. Saute/fry shrimp till pink in butter.
  3. Make a small roux with the oil and flour.
  4. Add in onions to roux and cook till onions are tender.
  5. Add in shrimp and bread; then add in seasonings to taste.
  6. It takes a good bit of seasoning because of the bread.
  7. Mix thoroughly; stuff the dressing into the pepper halves and top with bread crumbs.
  8. Place in baking dish with 1/2 inch of warm water surrounding the peppers.
  9. Bake at 375 degrees for45 min to an hour
