Olive Garden Gamberoni Al'aglio
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 lbs shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 4 ounces butter
- 34 cup white wine
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
- 1 lb angel hair pasta, cooked and drained (should be ready to use at time sauce is complete)
- salt and pepper, to taste
- Using medium-high heat, warm the oil in a saute pan and add the onion.
- Saute 2 minutes then add the garlic, sauteing 1 minute.
- Add shrimp and cook 2 minutes additional.
- Add the butter through parsley and stir until well mixed.
- Bring sauce to just below a boil.
- Take one ladle full of sauce without any shrimp and mix with just drained pasta in pasta pan.
- Plate pasta and then ladle shrimp and more sauce over plated pasta.
