Buttery beef Tips
- 2 lb sirlion (or your favorite cut of beef), cubed
- 1 stick of unsalted butter, not margarine
- 2 cup beef broth
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- pinch sea salt
- pinch ground black pepper
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 clove garlic minced
- dash worcestershire sauce
- dash Soy sauce
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 packages Lipton Beefy Onion dry soup mix
- Heat pan.
- Turn down heat to med high.
- Add butter, onion.
- Saute about 2 minutes.
- Add beef, saute for about 3 minutes now add garlic add saute for about 2 minutes careful to not burn it.
- Add wine and bring to boil, cooking off alcohol and scraping bottom of pan.
- Add remaining ingredients, bring to boil, cover and lower heat to simmer.
- Simmer for 1 hr or until meat is nice and tender.
- Serve with noodles or rice.
- If you want a thicker gravy, mix 2 tbsp corn starch with 2 tbsp of cold water and stir slowly into mixture.
- Simmer for 15 minutes or until thickened.
- Slow cooker: add all ingredients to slow cooker, cook on high 4 hrs or low 6-8 hrs.
