Crispy Pumpkins
- 1/4 cup Land O Lakes Butter
- 1 (10-ounce) package mini marshmallows
- 6 cups crisp rice cereal
- 6 drops yellow food color
- 6 drops red food color
- Green decorator frosting or gel
- Mini chocolate roll candies, cut in half
- Melt butter in large saucepan over medium-low heat; add marshmallows.
- Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 5-7 minutes or until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat; stir in yellow and red food color.
- Stir in cereal until well coated.
- Let mixture cool 5 minutes.
- Shape about 1 cup cereal mixture into round shape, using buttered measuring cup to portion out mixture.
- Press mini chocolate roll candy halves into top of pumpkin.
- Press butter knife edge into sides of crispy balls to create indentations on sides to resemble pumpkin.
- Pipe green frosting around stem to create vines.
