Cheese And Ham Macaroni Casserole
- 1 (1 lb.) box Elbow Macaroni
- 1 cup of sharp Cheddar (grated)
- 1 c. sharp cheese
- 1 c. sour cream or buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 lb. ham, cut up into small pieces
- 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 6 eggs
- 2 (13 oz.) cans evaporated milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- Cook macaroni in boiling salted water according to package directions.
- Drain well and place into mixing bowl.
- Add grated cheeses, reserving 1/2 cup to sprinkle on top.
- Stir in cheeses until melted.
- Stir in margarine, eggs paprika, salt, pepper; no need to beat first, just stir well to distribute evenly.
- Add milk. Mixture will be fairly liquid.
- Pour into a 9 x 13 pan, sprinkle reserved cheese on top and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, until set.terve.
