Quick Cream Cheese Danish

  1. In an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan, press together one package of roll dough, sealing edges together.
  2. Beat cream cheese until fluffy.
  3. Add sugar and mix well.
  4. Add lemon juice, salt, vanilla and egg yolk.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Pour over rolls in pan.
  7. Place remaining package of rolls on top of cream cheese mixture (press out on wax paper first).
  8. Brush with slightly beaten egg white.
  9. Sprinkle with nuts.
  10. Bake in 350u0b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden brown.
  11. Let cool completely (overnight) before slicing.
  12. Cheese filling is very soft when it comes out of oven.
