Ranch Mac & Cheese
- 1 (16oz.) package shell macaroni
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 envelope Ranch salad dressing mix
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp sugar( to balance out all the salt. Don't add salt until you taste. Also it will taste salty but after you mix it with the macaroni its fine)
- 2 cup Shredded cheddar cheese mixture
- 5 oz Velveeta cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup Shredded Colby jack
- Cook macaroni according to package directions
- Meanwhile, in medium saucepan, combine milk, butter, dressing mix, garlic salt, pepper and sugar; heat through
- Stir in cheddar cheese mixture and Velveeta cheese until melted
- Stir in sour cream.
- Keep this on low until noodles are cooked.
- It will be a little runny but it will thicken up in the oven
- Drain macaroni and let cool for 5 minutes
- Add macaroni to cheese sauce and stir until combined
- Transfer macaroni and cheese to a greased, 13x9 baking dish.
- Top with Colby jack cheese.
- Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes
