Pasta a la Stan
- 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
- 1 envelope Dry Onion Soup Mix, 1 Ounce Packet
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 1 can Diced Tomatoes 540ML
- 1 can Water (use The Tomato Can)
- 2 cups Dry Shell Shaped Pasta
- 1/4 cups Ketchup
- 1 teaspoon Hot Sauce
- 1/2 cups Parmesan Cheese, Freshly Grated
- 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, Grated
- In a large skillet with a lid, brown the hamburger over medium heat until no longer pink.
- Add the envelope of onion soup mix and pepper.
- Stir in the can of diced tomatoes, you could use a flavored can here if you like, Italian or garlic etc.
- Add in a can of water, the uncooked pasta, the ketchup and hot sauce.
- Put the lid on the skillet and let the pasta shells cook.
- Check often to make sure there is enough liquid, add a little more water if needed.
- Once the pasta is tender (use the package instructions as a guideline for time) stir in the grated parmesan cheese.
- Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat, top with the grated mozzarella cheese and put the lip on until melted.
- Serve!
